Valorant Agent Tier List patch 6.08

S-tier

When it comes to the agents that surpass every other character in the meta, our picks are Jett, KAY/O, Killjoy, and Raze. Jett has always been the face of Valorant, and if VCT 2023: LOCK//IN has proved something, it’s that an aggressive Jett is unstoppable even at the highest level of competitive and professional play.

Furthermore, KAY/O’s abilities hard counter most agents, making him the strongest Initiator, while Killjoy and Raze are superior to every other agent in their respective roles.

A-tier

When it comes to the A-tier, we have some of the strongest support agents in the game which prove to be a win condition in matches. They are Initiators, Controllers, and Sentinels, which provide the highest value to the team, ensuring victory. This tier consists of Fade, Sova, Omen, Sage, and Brimstone.

B-tier

The B-tier has agents who, while not globally as potent as their S and A-tier counterparts, have some strong maps where they are a must-pick. This tier has Skye, Viper, Reyna, Gekko, and Harbor.

A major change you’d notice here is the fall of Viper from S-tier to B-tier in the current patch. Although she didn’t face any direct nerfs, two of her strongest maps (Icebox and Breeze) have been rotated out of the competitive queue, reducing her overall potential in the game.

C-tier

The C-tier consists of agents who are easily replaceable by some better characters in their respective roles. While they may have 1 or 2 strong maps, their utility is interchangeable with a different pick. This tier includes Astra, Neon, Breach, Cypher, and Yoru, with the last 2 pretty much always being poor picks across all the maps.

D-tier

While no agent can be truly considered D-tier in the game, the one that has the least value currently is inarguably Chamber. After nerfs to his kit in patch 5.12, he has become more of a liability without providing any real utility to the team.
