It’s Orbs or Nothing

Like the other Team Deathmatch maps, Kasbah features numerous orbs that can shift the odds in your favor. There are a total of 15 orbs on Kasbah, the most out of all TDM maps.

There are two Ultimate Orbs along with a single Weapon Orb inside both side tunnels. There is also a nearby Ultimate Orb located in both side nests. Finally, there are four Ultimate Orbs, two Weapon Orbs, and one Recovery Orb in mid. This makes mid a highly contested area.

Getting control of the orbs and knowing their spawn timings can allow your team to bully the enemy team. Deprive them of better weapons, ult recharges, and heals, and you’ll have an easier time winning on Kasbah.

Flanking Opportunities

As we’ve mentioned, Kasbah is the largest TDM map. This means that it’s easier to find flanks and catch enemies off by surprise. Getting a kill in side tunnels usually means free entry into the enemy spawn. From there, you can farm kills until you get traded.

Another way to spawn is by using side link, especially if fights are happening in the middle area. This way, enemies will be pinched from the side, allowing you to easily get a kill or two. Just make sure to watch out for flanks or other open angles as well.

Snipers and Ranged Weapons

Because of Kasbah’s larger and wider nature, most of the sight lines on the map are pretty straightforward. This means that you can see clearly through a straight line without too many objects or structures blocking the way.

This is why ranged weapons are very powerful on the map. For pistol, you can take the Ghost. In Stage 2, you can use the Sheriff. In Stage 3, use the Guardian or the Bulldog. Finally, in Stage 4, any of the rifles should work. Additionally, be sure to take the Marshals or Operators that spawn in the Weapon Orbs. They can be valuable weapons for holding mid control, which is where our next tip comes in.

Mid Tower Control

Our final tip for Kasbah is fighting for mid control. Kasbah features the most orbs out of any TDM map. Most of those orbs are located throughout the middle area. This makes the middle area a crucial power position on the map that you should take control of if you want to win.

Depriving your enemies of these valuable orbs can make or break the game. The middle area also connects directly to the spawn locations. This means that fights should happen frequently. So make sure to prepare for what’s to come because a ton of blood will be shed in mid.
