Vandal

First up, we have the mighty Vandal. There’s no doubt that the Vandal is the top rifle in Valorant because of how powerful and popular the weapon is. The ability to one-shot headshot anyone from any range is incredibly strong if you have the aim to back it up.

It also has a decent fire rate and a good-sized magazine for spraying. It may not be the fastest or most versatile rifle, but it definitely deals a great amount of damage. Not to mention those spicy one-tap clips that are simply a thing of beauty.

This is why the Vandal has the highest pick rate among all weapons in Valorant. It doesn’t matter that it’s not that good at close range if you can hit your headshots anyway.

Phantom

A close second will, of course, be the Phantom. The Phantom vs. Vandal debate has been around since the release of Valorant, and the Vandal is finally getting the recognition it deserves.

However, don’t sleep on the Phantom. With a faster fire rate, a larger magazine size, and a silencer, the Phantom will always be the superior weapon for spraying through smokes. It’s also better at close-range fights and killing multiple enemies in quick succession.

It’s also the most flexible rifle because of its ability to dominate close to medium-range fights while still being an excellent weapon in long-range encounters. If only it could one-shot headshot at any range, too, then it would be the best weapon in the game.

Bulldog

Up next is the Bulldog, and I mean the rifle, not the cute pup. The Bulldog is the cheapest rifle in Valorant at 2,050 credits. This makes it a solid alternative if you’re running a little low on credits but still want to have a fighting chance against fully-bought opponents.

The Bulldog is often used as a second-round weapon if you happen to win the pistol round. It’s strong enough to completely dominate even force buys by the enemy team and good enough to match up well against Vandals and Phantoms on your bonus round.

Overall, the best feature of the Bulldog is definitely its three-burst alt-fire. The burst fire can deal an insane amount of damage in one click if you can aim the Bulldog correctly

Guardian

Finally, we have the Guardian. While the Guardian may be the worst rifle in Valorant, it’s far from the worst weapon in the game. It deals an insane amount of damage per bullet that can also one-shot headshot from any range.

Unfortunately, its small magazine size and slow fire rate are just too much for its 2,250 price point. You’re usually better off buying the cheaper Bulldog. It’s mostly just a better and longer version of the Sheriff.

Overall, you should only buy the Guardian if you have insane trust in your aim and you don’t have enough money for a Phantom or a Vandal.
