Agent Updates

Valorant Episode 7 Deadlock

First and foremost, let’s talk about the biggest update in patch 7.0, the release of Valorant’s 22nd agent, Deadlock. The newest Sentinel goes live with this patch and a quick rundown of her abilities is given below.

  1. Sonic Sensor (Q): Monitors an area for sound. Concusses any enemies nearby when sound is detected.
  2. Barrier Mesh (E): The signature ability that generates a barrier, blocking character movement.
  3. GravNet (C): A grenade that detonates, forcing enemies caught in its effect to crouch and move slowly.
  4. Annihilation (X):  Fires a pulse of nanowires that cocoons an enemy. The enemy will be pulled along the path and die unless the cocoon is destroyed.

Game Mode Updates

The 2nd major update in this match is a completely new game mode called Team Deathmatch. Here’s the gist of what you need to know about this mode.

  1. A 5v5 game mode that can be played on 1 of the 3 maps. The match lasts for 9m 30s.
  2. The match is divided into 4 timed stages and you choose weapon loadout for each stage.
  3. The first team to get 100 kills or the team in lead when the timer expires wins.

  1. Aside from XP, you can complete daily rewards to earn the new in-game currency, Kingdom Credits.
  2. The Kingdom Credits can be used to purchase the accessories from previous battle passes, which weren’t available before.

  8. Fixed the issue of not allowing Cypher to pick up Cage during the Buy Phase.
  9. Sage Barrier Orb multiple rotation bug fixed.
