The Marshal only costs 950 credits, making it an extremely cheap weapon that you can easily buy on one of your eco rounds. Even though it’s cheap, it can still be incredibly deadly because of its ability to one-shot headshot enemies with shields or one-shot body shot without any shields.

It also features a fast fire rate and an even faster reloading speed. This allows for a unique mechanic that can only be done using a Marshal. You can reload your weapon in between shots. This is due to the weapon having a faster reload time than its fire rate.

Overall, the Marshal is one of the best long-range weapons for low-investment rounds. The only real weapon that can compete with it in terms of cost and power at range is the Sheriff, but it doesn’t have a scope, which still gives a slight edge to the Marshal.

However, there’s no doubt that having a Stinger and even some of the other pistols is better than a Marshal at close range. At the end of the day, it’ll mostly depend on what you need the most.

The Basic Stats

The Marshal has a headshot multiplier of x2 and a leg shot multiplier of x0.85. It doesn’t have any damage falloff and is still very accurate, even if you don’t use the scope.

It also has a fire rate of 1.5 rounds/sec, a reload speed of 2.5s (0.5s per bullet), and a magazine size of 5 with 15 reserves.

Here are the basic damage stats for the Marshal:

The Best Ways to Use the Marshal

The best way to use the Marshal is by simply using it to hold long-range angles. This includes angles like C long on Haven, B long on Pearl, B long on Bind, and mid on Ascent, among many others.

Since the weapon is very accurate even when not using the scope, it’s best to simply hip fire if you’re facing an enemy in close range. This gives you a better overall view of your surroundings and a faster fire rate.

Using hip fire will definitely up your chances of surviving in close range, especially since you only need to hit at most two shots to get the kill.
