Killjoy – 70.2% Pick Rate

The sole Sentinel at the top with a dominating 70.2% pick rate is Killjoy. Killjoy is by far the most picked Valorant Agent in pro play. She dominates maps through her strong site-holding capabilities.

She can gather information, delay pushes, play for post-plant lineups, and engage sites. She can almost do it all. This is what makes her a must-pick in pro play.

Jett – 60.7% Pick Rate

The runner-up is Jett. Is it really a surprise at this point that Jett is still among the most picked Valorant Agents in pro play?

She’s the best Operator Agent in the game, can enter sites with ease, can help if your eco is down, and can perform insane outplays. She’s the perfect Agent to put on one of your team’s best players.

Viper – 40.5% Pick Rate

Viper is slowly becoming the best Controller Agent in Valorant. She’s slowly gaining some traction and getting some love in both ranked and professional play.

Her Toxic Screen is perfect for the maps currently in rotation, which is a huge factor in her strength increase. She can also provide post-plant lineups and has a very powerful ultimate that can easily get you control of a huge area.

KAY/O – 40.5% Pick Rate

Tied for third with Viper at a 40% pick rate is KAY/O. KAY/O’s kit works well as a substitute for a Duelist. His flashes can be his main entry tool, his ZERO/point can help gather information, and his ultimate is one of the best site-taking tools in the game.

More and more teams are starting to run single Duelist(Jett) lineups and using KAY/O as a replacement Duelist.

Sova – 39.8% Pick Rate

Rounding up our top 5 is Sova. Sova is just a little bit shy of having a 40% pick rate. Ever since the early days, Sova has been a solid pick in the pro scene.

He provides insane intel-gathering abilities, crazy post-plant lineups, and solid delaying abilities through his Shock Bolts, Recon Bolt, and Hunter’s Fury. I honestly don’t see him falling out of the meta unless he receives some significant nerfs.

Omen – 38.61% Pick Rate

Of course, you can’t use Viper on all the maps in the current pool. This is where Omen comes in. Omen is a great versatile Controller that can be the main smoker while also lurking.

Some teams have also decided to run a dual Controller lineup that involves both Omen and Viper, making for some unique and crafty plays.
