Use Your Abilities to Find Flanking Opportunities

Wraith’s abilities are great mobility tools. This added mobility can be used to find flanks and appear in locations where your opponents least expect you. Into the Void can help you sneak closer towards enemies without being seen. Dimensional Rift is a great way to keep yourself safe while flanking, and it can also allow you to bring your team on the flank.

Listen to Your Passive and Communicate It With Your Team

Your passive gives you information whenever danger is near. It can be activated when an enemy is aiming at you, traps are nearby, many enemies are nearby, and when many people have died nearby.

Whenever your passive warns you, make sure to communicate it to your team. This helps you and your team plan ahead and figure out the best steps to take. Communicating with your team isn’t only applicable in our Apex Legends Wraith guide but is also an excellent tip for beginners in general.

Don’t Be Afraid to Use Your Tactical and Ultimate Ability When Moving Around the Map

A common mistake that new Apex Legends Wraith players commit is holding onto their abilities for too long. They always want to have it up in case things go south so that they have a get-out-of-jail-free card ability.

While this strategy can definitely help, you’re wasting a whole lot of your kit if you aren’t constantly using it. Into the Void gives you a 30% speed boost, while Dimensional Rift gives a 25% speed boost. These are significant buffs and can help you rotate or investigate your surroundings faster.

Dimensional Rift is also a great way to quickly help your team rotate. You don’t always need to save your abilities for big fights.

Remain Unpredictable and Use Your Surroundings When Using “Into the Void”

As we’ve mentioned above, Into the Void is a great tool that you can use to escape. However, enemies can still see you via the trail you leave behind. They can simply follow the trail and wait for your ability to end before firing again.

This is why it’s important to move in unpredictable ways and hide behind cover if you can. You can easily shake enemies off by using your surroundings wisely. It’s best if you don’t run in a straight line and go through buildings or structures to make it difficult for enemies to follow your trail.

Bait Enemies to Enter Your “Dimensional Rift”

Anyone can enter Wraith’s Dimensional Rift ultimate. This is a great way to set up a trap and quickly pick off one or even two enemies that end up chasing you. One of the earliest Apex Legends Wraith strategies was to have her team wait with shotguns on one end of the Rift while forcing enemies to enter from the other.

Of course, not everyone is going to fall for this trick. However, you’ll still be surprised by the number of free kills you can get using this strategy. Not many people can resist entering a portal, especially when they know you’re already low on health.

Wraith may not be one of the most beginner-friendly Legends because of her dependence on movement skills and map knowledge. However, using these tips and tricks can definitely help you become a better Apex Legends Wraith player one step at a time.
