Like Revenant, Ash is also a simulacrum who has existed for more than a hundred years. She uses her skills and experience to dominate her opponents in a cold-blooded fashion. She can pull-off some pretty crazy outplays if you can use her skills correctly.

Ash requires nothing less than perfection, so you’d better read our Apex Legends Ash guide to perfect your craft.

Scan All Three

Marked for Death is a great passive for tracking enemies that have recently killed other players. Using your passive on Death Boxes reveals the squad that killed them and marks them on the map for 8 seconds.

Ash’s passive can only be used once on each Death Box. But what some new Apex Legends Ash players fail to realize is that they can actually use the passive on multiple Death Boxes from the same squad. This gives you a ton of information regarding their location for up to three occasions.

Hold That Door For Me

Another trick that Apex Legends Ash players can perform is to use their Arc Snares as traps. You can put them close to doors or entrances and prevent players from entering or pushing you. They can last for 5 seconds and can be a great way to pull off a quick heal or escape from enemies.

Lead The Way

If you’re truly planning to become an Apex Legends Ash main, you have to condition yourself to be the leader of the team. Ash’s passive is a great way to determine the next steps and rotations you should take as a team. With the information you can gather, you have to be vocal and openly communicate with your team.

While this tip can be hard, especially for Apex Legends beginners, it’s a vital tip that can help you win games.

Arc Snare and Nades Combo

It’s no secret that Arc Snare is a pretty weak ability on its own. It only deals 10 damage and snares for 3 seconds. However, it can be extremely strong if you can quickly follow it up with grenades.

The 3-second snare is more than enough time to throw an Arc Star or a Thermite Grenade at your enemy. This is a similar strategy that you can use on Horizon’s Black Hole.

One-Way Ticket to Heaven

Your Phase Breach is very similar to Wraith’s Dimensional Rift. They have similar distances and purposes. However, your Phase Breach can do something that Dimensional Rift can’t – teleport you vertically.

One of the best ways to use your ultimate is to look for unique off-angles vertically. This can be on top of buildings, rock formations, bones, and anything else you see around the map. Most of these locations will be unexpected and will catch a lot of enemies off-guard.

Keeping Track

As an Apex Legends Ash player, your ultimate is one of the most powerful things in your kit. It can allow you to initiate fights, find flanks, and create opportunities for your team. However, it can be tough to tell how long your portal will last throughout the battle.

Phase Breach typically lasts around 15 seconds or around 12% of your ultimate charge. This is a great way to find out how much time is left until your portal disappears.

All Aboard the “Phase Breach” Train

Your Phase Breach is a fast way to rotate and reposition around the map. It only has a 2-minute cooldown, so you don’t have to save it up for the next fight. Don’t be afraid to use it as a way to simply get around the map faster or to reach high areas and scout ahead.
