It’s no secret that Horizon has a bit of a learning curve. However, when you play her right, she can be one of the best Legends in Apex Legends. These tips and tricks in our Apex Legends Horizon guide can help you become a better Horizon player.

And Away You Go

Horizon’s Gravity Lift ability can be a useful initiation or escape tool. But the ability can affect anyone, from teammates to enemies. This means that you can also use it to mess with enemies.

By quickly deploying a well-timed Gravity Lift, you can catch enemies off-guard and lift them up in the air. This can create unique opportunities for you to escape or fight them back with ease.

You Shall Not Pass

Another great tip for new Apex Legends Horizon players is to use your Gravity Lift to block entrances. This makes it difficult, if not impossible, for enemies to enter or exit. You can then use this time to heal up or to get away from enemies.

Deploying your Gravity Lift near doors can also result in interactions of players getting stuck on the ceiling. It’s definitely a unique way to outplay enemies.

The (Arc) Stars Are Out

You can use your Black Hole ultimate to completely destroy enemies by mowing them down when they get pulled. However, another quick and easy way to kill enemies with your ultimate is by using Arc Stars.

After deploying N.E.W.T. you can quickly throw a couple of Arc Stars toward the center. Arc Stars work well because they damage and blur the vision of enemies, buying you more time to fire at them using your VK-47 Flatline. This is why it’s important to always bring a couple of Arc Stars with you when playing Horizon.

Up, Slide, and Heal

This is perfect for more advanced Apex Legends Horizon players who have mastered her movement. Her Spacewalk passive allows Horizon to instantly slide when she lands while crouching. This allows her to easily cover large distances when coming out of her Gravity Lift or from heights.

You can quickly deploy Gravity Lift, crouch when you’re about to fall, and slide into cover to heal up. It’s a common trick used by high-ranking players. I highly suggest practicing this move if you’re committed to becoming an Apex Legends Horizon main.

High and Deadly

Gravity Lift is a huge part of Horizon’s kit. This is why any aspiring Apex Legends Horizon player should know how to fully utilize it. A common thing to do is to use it to get high ground. You can use it to create unique angles that most players won’t expect.

Another great way is to simply stay at the peak of Gravity Lift and start firing away. This is completely unexpected and can get you a kill or two in the process. Unfortunately, you can’t stay at the top forever, but it gives you enough time to at least get some serious damage in.

Pulled Out of Cover

The next tip in our Apex Legends Horizon guide is for your Black Hole ultimate. You can use your ultimate to force enemies out of hiding. If you’re certain that an enemy is hiding behind a structure, you can throw your Black Hole near it. This then forces the enemies to run away or get pulled. Just make sure to watch the other side in case they peek at you from there.

A Gravity-Defying Combo

Finally, you can always use your skills with one another. Deploying Gravity Lift to get some height before throwing your Black Hole can result in some serious outplays. This allows you to get a great vantage point and more accurately throw your Black Hole.

You can then quickly move toward your enemies to finish them, thanks to the Gravity Lift you’ve deployed.

Playing as the gravity-manipulating doctor can be quite the challenge. Hopefully, you were able to pick up a few tips in our Apex Legends Horizon guide to help you become a true master of gravity.
