The Apex Legends Season 16 trailer dropped this morning on Youtube and confirmed a few key pieces of information for Apex Legends fans:
- The new season will carry the name of Apex Legends: Revelry
- Team Deathmatch is coming to Apex Legends!
We also got the official release notes from the Apex Legends developer blog. The blog also confirmed a few key pieces of information:
- Remastered legend classes confirmed (Assault, Recon, Skirmisher, Controller, Support)
- Team Deathmatch for the first 3 weeks of the season
- Permanent modes playlist, “Mixtape”, which will feature rotation of Team Deathmatch, Gun Run, and Control
- New energy weapon: Nemesis
- Crypto & Ash Thematic pack login bonuses
Season 16 will official drop on February 14th, 2023. This content release definitely feels like a sort of ‘reset’ with Respawn choosing to push the name of ‘Revelry’ as opposed to calling it season 16 in their official releases. What’s missing is any mention of a new Legend, so perhaps we won’t be seeing Ballistic this season after all?
