Chasedown, Look Down

Valkyrie’s Skyward Dive is a fantastic all-around ultimate with a reasonable cooldown. It can be used to reposition, rotate, engage, scan the area, gather information, and escape fights. That’s why it’s important to always use it when it’s up.
Skyward Dive gets canceled when you’re shot at during the charge-up, so remember to use it behind cover. If you have a teammate like Newcastle then you can ask for a shield before using your ultimate for a safer flight. Another alternative is Gibraltar, who is a perfect Legend for beginners.
Grab That Ledge
After using your VTOL Jets, Valkyrie enters a short animation that doesn’t allow you to use your weapons. However, you can cancel this animation and save a bit of time whenever you are near ledges and structures.
All you have to do is to climb on the ledges at the very end of your flight. This cancels the animation and allows you to instantly pull out your weapon and start fighting.
Instant Elevator
You can use VTOL Jets as a quick and easy way to move between different floors in some buildings. This is usually only applicable to buildings that have open sides and areas. But it’s definitely a fun way to get around. Not to mention that it’s also a great way to escape enemies that land on the same building in the early game.
High Ground, Low Ground, High Ground Again
