Limboplasma in Stalcraft

Acquiring Limboplasma in Stalcraft is nothing short of a herculean task. Heracles had to battle the Namean lion to get its pelt. Likewise, if you want to get Limboplasma, you’re gonna have to face the most vicious beasts in Limansk.

In all honesty, Limansk is one of the toughest zones in the game. Whether you’re farming Lambda Data Fragments or Anomalous Battery, you’re gonna have a bad time. However, those two pale in comparison to how difficult it is to get even a single salve of Limboplasma…

Do you hate playing alone? After all, it’s better to explore the Zone with a battle buddy by your side. If that’s the case, then you should definitely check out the Z League app. Its LFG feature will help find you a gaming buddy in no time.

Key Takeaways for Where to Farm Limboplasma in Stalcraft

  • Limboplasma can only be acquired in Limansk
  • To get Limboplasma, you have to kill the mutant bosses that spawn in Limansk
  • Bring a couple of squadmates with you when farming Limboplasma, as farming it solo is not advised

How to Get Limboplasma in Stalcraft

Limboplasma in Stalcraft

This is a map of Limansk. To get Limboplasma, you’re gonna have to take out one of the bosses that are marked on the map. Those are the golden icons that you see above.

These bosses come in a variety of flavors, and all of them suck! You can either fight a chimera boss, a bloodsucker boss, or a giant rat boss. Oh, and if you think “The giant rat boss sounds the least threatening of the three.” You’d be mistaken. This ain’t your ordinary rat!

What’s more, if you want to get out of Limansk, you’ll have to face one of these bosses eventually; as defeating the bosses drops the ID artifact, which is required to leave Limansk.

What You’ll Need Beforehand

Weapons! And lots of them! Bring your best shotgun, either the Protecta or the Saiga. Shotguns deal increased damage against mutants. It’s also a smart idea to carry a secondary weapon as well. Ideally, an assault rifle, so that you have a response to human opponents as well.

Another thing that you’ll need is friends. Ideally, 2 or 3 of them. Limansk’s design is a bit different than the other zones. You can’t really run around as a solo in Limansk, or else you’re gonna have a bad time. That is why you should always enter Limansk as a group.

Tips For Taking on the Rat Boss

The Rat Boss might seem like the “easiest” of the three to take out but don’t be fooled. This isn’t your regular Zone rat. This one’s been working out!

Unlike your average Zone rat, however, the Rat Boss is strictly on a steroids-only diet. So, take the qualities of the average rat, amplify them by 100, and you’ll get the Rat Boss.

The problem with the Rat Boss isn’t the boss itself, but the dozens of other rats that spawn alongside the Rat Boss. If you want to clear them out in the quickest way possible, you’re gonna want to use an AoE weapon. Ideally, a grenade launcher or the Tinderbox.

Tips For Taking on the Bloodsucker Boss

Every sane Stalker should know to stay away from bloodsuckers. If you’re exploring Limansk however, you are definitely not sane.

The Bloodsucker Boss is a step up from the Giant Rat Boss. It has all the same qualities of the regular bloodsucker, but much, much, worse.

To effectively tackle this boss, use a high-capacity shotgun or a submachine gun. You should ideally use flaming rounds against it and its subordinates, as those deal the most overall damage to unarmored targets.

Tips For Taking on the Chimera Boss

Don’t!

However, if you absolutely must. Spread out with your squad and for a kill zone. Whenever the chimera charges at one of your teammates, that teammate should run away so that the chimera aggroes onto another teammate.

Still, you should expect casualties regardless of what you do. This is one of the toughest units in the game. However, if you want to get Limboplasma in Stalcraft, you’re just gonna have to bite the bullet and take it on regardless.
