- The KV Broadside, which has terrorized Ashika Island in recent weeks, received a nerf, as did the Dragon’s Breath ammunition attachment available on all shotguns
- The Tempus Torrent, a new marksman rifle, was added to the game. Players can unlock by extracting it from DMZ or completing a challenge.
- Spawn protection will now disable at 25 meters from the ground instead of 19 meters
- The Bomb Drone will be disabled in Battle Royale. The devs will then be looking at ways to balance the killstreak before bringing it back
- The Light Helo has been disabled in BR Solos

Almost every update brings with it a shift in the meta, and with Infinity Ward already announcing the KV Broadside would be receiving a nerf, Season 2 reloaded is now different.
Currently, the top tier consists of the aforementioned KV Broadside, along with the ISO Hemlock AR, the Lachmann Sub SMG, and the Sakin MG38 LGM.
While we know the KV Broadside is getting a reduction in damage, we will need to wait to see if it remains at the top tier, or truly becomes balanced. The original RPK/Fennec meta was nerfed multiple times before it was finally knocked from the top spot, so there is no guarantee that this update will remove 25 rounds of dragon’s breath from dominating Ashika Island.
Another weapon for players to be on the lookout entering the meta is the new Tempus Torrent marksman rifle, which will be released with the Reloaded update. The KV Broadside and ISO Hemlock went from new weapons to top of the meta in the first half of season 2, so it is not out of the question for the final new weapon of Season 2 to do the same.

Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded New Weapon
Season 2 will bring with it the Tempus Torrent, a marksman rifle, and the final weapon being added to the game during Season 2. The Tempus Torrent will be part of the M4 weapon platform, making it the second weapon weapon added to the game this season that is part of an existing weapon platform (the KV Broadside being the first). This means that almost all attachments unlocked for the M4 platform will be available to be used on the Tempus Marksman, giving players the ability to customize it to their specific playstyle.

So what can we expect from the Tempus Torrent at launch? This marksman rifle will have a 20 round base capacity, and boasts a quick fire rate and good damage output, offset by a noticeable recoil kick. The Tempus Torrent will thrive at mid-range, where players who master its upward and to the left recoil pattern will be able to eliminate enemies with two landed shots.
Players can unlock the Torrent either by completing 25 double kills with a marksman rifle, or by purchasing a store bundle.
Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded: New Operator “Shredder”
Shredder first appeared in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in 1984 as the leader of the Foot Clan. Almost 40 years later Shredder is making his way to Call of Duty via an in store bundle.
The bundle will include the Shredder operator skin, as well as three blueprints, a weapon vinyl, a vehicle skin, and a weapon charm. The three blueprints are:
- “Oroku” shotgun
- “Saki” AR
- “Steel Claws” Dual Kodachi
As of now, this bundle appears to be the only way to unlock the Shredder operator.
