Stalcraft Combat Armors: Carry Weight Path

Let’s take a look at Stalcraft Combat Armors, particularly, the Carry Weight tree of Combat Armors. It’s a tree that comes into play much later but is quite useful nonetheless.

Stalcraft Combat Armors Carry Weight

Carry Weight is a stat that is often overlooked in Stalcraft… until you really need it that is. Something similar can be said about the Carry Weight or “Pack Mule” path as I like to call it. Most players overlook it until they realize how good it actually is.

Regardless if you’re playing Stalkers or Bandits, Carry Weight is a useful stat to have. So, instead of popping Atlas’ or Hercules’, invest in a good Pack Mule suit and you’ll end up saving a lot of roubles as a result.

Do you hate playing alone? After all, it’s better to explore the Zone with a battle buddy by your side. If that’s the case, then you should definitely check out the Z League app. Its LFG feature can help find you a gaming buddy in no time.

The Bar Combat Armors

Proper Carry Weight suits don’t become available until you reach the Bar. So let’s take a look at the suits that are available.

Worn Thug Heavy Armored Suit

Stalcraft Combat Armors Worn Thug

The Worn Thug is an all-around decent suit of armor. Should you invest the resource to get it, is really up to you. The fact of the matter is that there are no unique traits that this suit has compared to the others of its level. However, it does open the gates to some pretty good suits later on.

And here we have the brand new Thug Heavy Armored Suit. Same as its predecessor. It’s good, it’s just not exceptional at anything. It offers a slight resistance increase across the board, although, the most notable one definitely has to be the Psy-Resistance. That one should open a lot of areas for you to explore.

Worn Trump

With the Worn Trump, we get into the exoskeletons, and that’s where the real fun begins. This suit gives you a tremendous increase in most of your stats, as well as a substantial increase to carry capacity. An extra 25kg to be precise. The best part is that it doesn’t come with the regular debuffs to move speed and stamina regen that other exoskeletons get.

And here we have Trump in pristine condition (the suit, not the US president). The most notable about this suit is that it increases most of your combat stats by a great margin (Bullet Resistance, Melee Resistance, Explosion Resistance). It also has a +30 Carry Weight, compared to the +25 of the worn version, which is great.

Worn Ace

The jet-black looks of the Worn Ace are a sight to behold indeed. This suit is especially dangerous in night operations, as it can be barely seen against the shadowy backdrop.

Stats-wise, the suit is leaps and bounds ahead of the Trump. Although, the most notable increase is definitely to the Elemental Resistances, as it offers you immunity against all of the Level 1 elemental effects. On top of that, you also get a crazy +40kg carry weight. Now that’s a sight for sore eyes.

Ace Exoskeleton

Finally, we have the Ace Exoskeleton. The final stop in Carry Weight technology. As of right now, this is the last piece of Combat Armor that you can acquire if you go down the Pack Mule path, and it’s definitely something to behold.

Compared to its predecessor, it offers even greater combat resistance and an astronomical +45kg Carry Weight. On top of that, the suit also has 2nd generation NVG built into it. No joke, you’ll probably be able to pick up half the Zone with this thing.
