The Valorant Store

The Store has remained unchanged throughout Valorant’s entire lifespan. It has always featured the current bundle/s in rotation and four individual weapon skins from the knife all the way to the Odin.

Bundles or Collections typically change whenever there’s a new patch. This means that bundles approximately stay in the store for about two weeks. However, there can be some exceptions for more premium or exclusive Collections.

Once a bundle leaves the store, it will never return again as a group. From then on, you can only get the individual skins from the Collection.

This then brings us to the daily skin rotations available in the Valorant store. There are four different skins available each day. These skins are randomly selected and will always be different per person.

The Valorant store refreshes its stock at the same time each day, depending on your location. Here are a few common timezones and when you can expect your store to get refreshed:

  • 5:00 PM PDT
  • 7:00 PM CST
  • 8:00 PM EST
  • 10:00 AM BST

Unfortunately, there’s no way of controlling what appears in your store each day. So, if you’re hunting for a specific skin, all you can do is hope that it appears soon.

What Can Be Done to Improve the Valorant Store

It’s no secret that the Valorant store isn’t exactly great. There are currently more than 647 skins in Valorant. Although not all of these skins can appear on your store, that’s still a lot. Four out of 647 ain’t that great, which makes it that much more annoying to wait for a skin you really want.

The Night Market is definitely a fantastic concept that serves as an extension of the Valorant store. It offers six different skins at a discount, giving players all the more reason to buy skins for their weapons.

One of the best ways to improve the store is to increase the number of daily skins available. This can be done in a variety of ways. There’s always the simple route of straight-up adding more slots.

A more fun way is to give the players a free skin refresh. This can be done as a reward for completing challenges, or every time you rank up, gaining ten wins, or anything else that Riot deems fair.

Another way to add skins to the store is to feature the entire Collection instead of individual skins. However, each skin should still be sold individually, and the bundle discount should no longer be available. This drastically brings up the total number of skins.

Adding the entire Collection will still help retain that thrilling and exciting feeling of waiting for the skin you like to appear in the store. It also gives new players a chance to buy the Collection even though they missed out on the discounted bundle.

There are tons of other ways to revamp the Valorant store and give players the skins they want. Hopefully, this change comes soon.
