These are the games being released in July 2023. There are a lot of titles coming out in July. Some of the names on this list are games that we’ve been waiting for years, so, understandably – the anticipation is rather high.

Gylt – July 6th
Gylt is a charming little adventure game that puts you in the shoes of a little girl. In it, you’ll be faced with puzzles, situations that require you to use your cunning to its maximum potential, and creepy monsters to boot!
We’ve all been kids, and, we’ve all been scared of silly things. If, for some reason, you’re nostalgic about the feeling – then Gylt is the game for you.
Exoprimal – July 14th
Exoprimal is a “weird” concept, to say the least. How weird you may ask? Well, the main premise of the game is this. Exoprimal is a team-based action game that puts you in control of advanced exosuits battling against humanity’s greatest enemy – Dinosaurs!
If that sounds to you like the plot of a Michael Bay movie, then you’re not alone on that. I’m 100% sure that that movie exists in an alternate universe.
Regardless. If you’re looking to mow down hordes of dinosaurs, then Exorpimal is a game you should definitely keep your eyes on.
Jagged Alliance 3 – July 14th
If you’re an old-school gamer, then you’ve surely heard of the Jagged Alliance franchise. It’s a series that dates back to the 90s, and, conceptually at least, it’s definitely a product of its time.
In it, you play a band of mercenaries, armed solely with a gun and an ambition to change the world. You command your rugged band of mercs in a top-down turn-based style of gameplay similar to the XCOM series.
If you’re looking to scratch that turn-based strategy itch, then Jagged Alliance 3 is definitely a game you should keep on your radar.
Immortals of Aveum – July 20th
Do you have a Doom itch that needs to be scratched? Do you want an eye-watering experience to boot? If so, then Immortals of Aveum is the game you should be looking out for in July 2023.
Immortals of Aveum is basically a Doom-esque shooter, but instead of using an arsenal of weaponry to defeat your enemies, you use magic instead.
This game is Ascendant Studios’ first entry, so there’s a lot on the line for the studio. But, from what we’ve seen of the game so far, it looks like they won’t disappoint.
Remnant 2 – July 25th
The Remnant series of games has been described as “Dark-Souls with guns”. If that description is something that gets you excited, then you should definitely keep your eyes on Remnant 2.
In it, you take control of humanity’s survivors (those that survived the first game anyways). Your mission is to find the source of the evil giving you trouble. And, you’ll have a whole new list of toys to do it with, as well as a host of new locations and environments to explore.
