Finally, it’s coming! If you’re an avid Call of Duty fan and you’ve been enjoying MW2 or Warzone 2, you have undoubtedly notice that Combat Records have not yet been released for the game. This has been a point of content with players, many exclaiming that this seems like a fundamental piece that should have been released with the initial launch of the game.

Early today, we received a firm confirmation from Activision that Combat Records will be released with Season 2. However, there is a caveat — stats will only track from Season 2 onward. Players that have been grinding out stats since launch are, unfortunately, out of luck. Now, we must warn you that Activision did mention earlier that Combat Records would be released during Season 1 Reloaded, however, they have since back-tracked that statement until now.

Many of you may be thinking about what this means for 3rd party stats trackers and tournament operators like Z League. Things are still fairly fluid at this time for the API but the release of Combat Records is a positive sign that should be on the critical path to offering Warzone 2 tournaments very soon. We’ll be sure to update you all once we have more information to share!
