Best Ultimates in Valorant: Ranked

All Valorant ultimate ranks are explained below

S tier

S-tier agents have some of the strongest ultimates in the game These ults can be of maximum assistance to players as well as the whole team. This tier contains 4 agents: Reyna, Breach, Gekko, and Viper.

Reyna can single-handedly clutch rounds when her ultimate, “Empowerment”, is active. It gives a boost to her weapon’s fire rate, and use dismiss and heal at the same time.

Breach’s “Rolling Thunder” can displace and concuss anyone near his ultimate.

Gekko, with his controllable “Thrash”, can detain multiple enemies it crashes into while Viper can cover the whole site using her “Viper’s pit”, which causes enemies to lose all their health down to 1 percent, diminishes visibility, and glows them red as long as they are inside the pit.

Valorant Best Ultimates

 A-tier

Jett, Raze, Phoenix, Sage, Yoru, and Neon fall in this category and have comparable ultimates but are not as good as S-tier. These include “Blade Storm”, “Showstopper”, “Run it Back”, “Resurrection”, “Dimensional Rift” and “Override”, respectively.

Some notable abilities belong to Phoenix, who can send in a clone of himself that can do everything as the original. We also have Jett, who can throw blades at pinpoint accuracy whether moving or flying, and Neon with her laser and slide.

While these ultimates require a bit more skill to use than the S-tier ones, in the right hands with the right team, they can prove to be game-changers on their own too as some of the best ultimates in Valorant.

B-tier

These agents have average ultimates that are good but easily countered. These agents are useful in terms of their ultimates but are not considered too good or too bad. These include Sova, Astra, Fade, Brim, Killjoy, Omen, and Cypher.

C-tier

Skye can deploy her ultimate which can track up to three enemies but is easily destructible.

Kay/o can be revived by a teammate when he dies during his ultimate. This ultimate also causes the enemies in a radius to lose their ability.

Chamber gets a temporary “operator” that has a slightly higher fire rate than the regular one. When an enemy gets killed by it, nearby enemies get slowed around a small radius of the body. The ultimate has only 5 bullets.

D-tier

Only Harbor falls in this category. Harbor’s ultimate “Reckoning” is by far the worst ultimate among all the agents that have yet been introduced into the game. Harbor can unleash a water attack onto the site that charges and stuns enemies who stay still near that charge. But the charging takes too much time and is very easy to avoid, and does not provide any kind of advantage to the allies. Hence being the weakest ultimate in the game.

In conclusion, almost all the ultimates have pros and cons, depending on various factors such as maps, team split, and many other factors. But the best ultimates in Valorant are very overpowered and provide a lot of support to the allies and immense damage to the opposing team. All these ultimates are ranked on the mentioned criteria.
