We currently recommend the following four perks to be competitive in Season 4 meta:

  • Overkill: Given the strength of LMGs (like the Sakin and RPK), which are typically optimized for long-range, you’ll still want to rock a close-range primary on swap, like the Fennec or Lachmann Sub.
  • Double Time: Increased movement speed will be critical given low TTK, especially for gaining an advantage in Resurgence
  • Fast Hands: Again, speed is the name of the game. Swapping between long and close range, reloads — it doesn’t get any better
  • High Alert: Huge for survivability, especially given low TTK

Resurgence Map Rotation

Resurgence maps will now rotate between Vondel and Ashika Island after a set time – similar to rotating maps in Apex Legends.

Battle Royale in Vondel

Traditional Battle Royale makes its way to the previously Resurgence exclusive Vondel map.

BR on Vondel will host up to 72 players, and will have dedicated Quads, Trios, Duos, and Solos playlists.

The gulag for Vondel is set in a wine cellar underneath the castle, and will three lanes with a circular center feature.

New Weapon

Three new weapons were added at the launch of Season 4. The fourth and final new weapon on the season becomes available to unlock with the Season 4 Reloaded update.

The Boys Arrive in Warzone

The cast of The Boys is making an appearance in Warzone and Modern Warfare 2, and bringing some new items with them. Along with Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir operator bundles being available in store, the Temp V field upgrade will be introduced to Warzone and DMZ for a limited time.

Activating the Temp V will give you one of 4 random superpowers:

  • Charge Jump – propels the operator across the map, taking no fall damage and causing splash damage around the landing spot
  • Electric Shockwave – a super EMP that deals damage and destroys enemy vehicles and equipment
  • Laser Vision – fire laser beams that cut through enemy targets
  • Teleport – warps the operator forward

There will also be a camo challenge to unlock new camos for each class:

  • Assault Rifles: Get 50 Operator headshots
  • Battle Rifles: Get 25 Operator kills from behind
  • SMGs: Get 250 Operator kills
  • Shotguns: Get 30 Operator kills while prone
  • LMGs: Get 30 Operator kills while using a suppressor
  • Marksman Rifles: Get 30 Operator kills while mounted
  • Sniper Rifles: Get 3 kills without dying 10 times
  • Sidearms: Get 50 enemy longshot kills
  • Launcher: Get 40 Operator kills
  • Melee: Get 30 enemy kills
