Games Being Released in April 2023

We love games here at Z League, so today we’ll be taking a look at some of the upcoming games to be released in April 2023, which is just around the corner!

So far, we’ve received a lot of amazing new games this year – Hogwarts Legacy comes to mind. The rest of the year is shaping up to be just as, if not even more exciting. It looks like 2023 is going to be one of the best years for gaming.

If you like gaming as much as we do, you should download the Z League app and share your best clips and gameplay. You might find a friend to play some of these upcoming games with!

Meet Your Maker – April 4th

Meet Your Maker Games to be released in April 2023

Meet your Maker is a fresh twist on the post-apocalypse genre where you can build your own dungeons (or is it better to say lairs?) and other players have to raid you.

It’s like Clash of Clans but for big boys because instead of a charming Archer Queen standing in your way, you’ll have hideous monstrosities that will probably look to add your corpse to their collection.

I for one am super excited about this one, who knows what kind of unspeakable horrors I’ll get to encounter!

Supplice – April 6th

Supplice

Supplice is an ode to the good old Doom games, and those kinds of games never go out of style. In Supplice, you’ll get to experience the good old FPS shooter formula: grimdark maps, lots of enemies, and a whole arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in your pockets – what more could you want?

My favorite part about Supplice is that it’s developed by modders of the old Doom games who have banded together to give their twist on the genre, and if their previous works are something to go by, then it’s sure to be good.

Trinity Fusion – April 13th

Trinity Fusion

We’ve written about Trinity Fusion in the past when the demo was available on Steam’s Next Fest. Back then we included it in our “games to look out for”, well, it’s finally here!… Soon.

It’ll still be a few more weeks before it releases, but it definitely looks good.

Trinity Fusion is a sci-fi combat platformer where you take control of different versions of yourself from the multiverse in a desperate attempt to save it from destruction. With an over-the-top story like that, you just know that it’s bound to be good. Plus, the visuals are just eye candy.

Dead Island 2 – April 21st

Dead Island 2

Dead Island 2, the long-awaited sequel to the first game is finally around the corner. Dead Island 1 was renowned for its high-octane zombie apocalypse action, and the 2nd game seems to be taking that to 11.

One change that is fairly noticeable in this game is that the RPG systems are more pronounced here, wherein in the first game they served as something to enrichen the game, here it seems as a core aspect of it. We’ll have to wait till the 21st to see I guess.

Star Wars: Jedi Survivor – April 28th

Jedi Survivor

Finally, we’ll get a continuation of Cal Kestis’ story. Star Wars: Fallen Order was a fan-favorite Star Wars game, maybe even rivaling the beloved Force Unleashed games from way back.

The concept is quite simple, you play as a Jedi who’s trying to survive the Empire that’s constantly hot on his track. The graphics are good, the combat is amazing, and if the first game is anything to go by, the story will probably be exemplary as well.
