Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2: Key Takeaways

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2: Maps Changes

With each new season, Fortnite player’s can expect some changes to the map, both cosmetically, as well as major POI overhauls or replacements. Leaks suggest that Chapter 4 Season 2 could feature a return of previous POI Lucky Landing.

A new Mega City POI will also be making coming to the map, which features tall buildings and bright billboards.

As far as movement, a new vehicle will be added to the map in the form of futuristic motorcycles.

Additionally, players can expect glowing mobility tubes that can be used to slide around the map. This would go well with the now confirmed Neo-Tokyo theme this season.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2: Battle Pass

The new season will bring with it new a new Battle Pass, and some pretty interesting skins to unlock. After Chapter 4 Season 1 introduced Geralt from The Witcher as the secret Battle Pass skin, leaks point towards Eren Yeager from the popular anime Attack on Titan as being the Season 2 secret skin. Attack on Titan previously did a collaboration with Call of Duty, and just released the first episode in its final season part 2.

A recent tweet from Fortnite confirmed the Attack on Titan appearance in the game, so we will have to wait to see if it is indeed as part of the Battle Pass.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2: New Weapons

Rumors are floating around that the iconic Pump Shotgun could be making a return with Season 2. There are also rumors of a new pistol and shotgun, along with several new Reality Augments.

Recent leaks also hint that the Season 2 Star Wars collaboration will allow players to use the force as well as the lightsaber this time around.

Additionally, with the confirmed Attack on Titan collaboration this upcoming season, there is a chance one or more weapons from the show make their way into the game, possibly with the omni-directional mobility gear the ranger regiment uses to move around off the ground.

While there hasn’t been an official announcement yet, prominent leakers believe there is a chance that the long waited first person mode could arriving in Fortnite with the season 2 update! First person in Fortnite rumors have been floating around for a few years now, but it seems like there is a very real chance it will become a reality soon.
