It’s been a while since a true Diablo successor to Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction has emerged. I know, I know — this is a hot take as there are still fans of Diablo 3 but surely no one’s backing the dumpster fire that is Diablo: Immortal.

Diablo 4: Early Access Times and Details

Early Access will be starting today at 12 Eastern and will run until Monday, March 20th 2023. The Early Access will shut down at exactly 12 noon Eastern on the 20th. The Early Access weekend will only be available to users who have pre–ordered any copy of the game.

Here are a couple of highlights:

  • Runs from 12 noon ET on March 17th, to 3 PM ET on March 20th
  • Only available to users who have pre-ordered Diablo 4
  • Only playable with 3 classes: Barbarian, Rogue, and Sorcerer
  • Only playable to level 25
  • Only introduces ‘Fractured Peaks’ zone

During Diablo 4 Early Access, you can taste only the Prologue and first Act of the new Diablo game and build your character to the 25th level.
But that should be enough to sense the atmosphere and feel the mechanics of the new incoming Blizzard child.

During Early Access weekend, you can create up to 10 characters per account, and you will have access to three classes: Sorceress, Barbarian, and Rogue.

Next weekend, when Diablo 4 General Open Beta will be available to everyone, you will have access to the remaining two characters – Necromancer and Druid.

Also, keep in mind that Blizzard will save your game progress from Open Beta, so you can continue where you stopped when Diablo 4 launches on June 6, but you will not be able to keep the characters you created during the Diablo 4 Open Beta period.

You will have the opportunity to dive into Lilith’s world’s gothic and dark atmosphere, full of missions from both the main quest line and side quests, and optional World and Legion events.

And you can even bring your friends via couch co-op or online party co-op with you to help you during this short but not easy journey.
It will be especially beneficial when Ashava spawns around, and that will happen on two specific occasions – March 18, at 6 pm, 8 pm, 6 am, and 8 am GMT and one week later at the same time.

Blizzard prepared rewards and extra content for people who will whirlwind through the cold environment of Fractured Peaks, an area inspired by the Carpathian Mountains.
The Diablo 4 community stream will take place on March 24, and you will be able to hear direct from developers, news and tips about the game itself.

You will also have the opportunity to earn three unique Open Beta rewards:

• Initial Casualty Title – when you reach the city of Kyovashad
• Early Voyager Title – when you get to Level 20
• Beta Wolf Cosmetic Pack – it will also be earned when you reach Level 20

And last but not least important, don’t forget to check the system requirements according to Blizzard and see does your PC fulfill them so you buckle up tomorrow and enjoy your game:

Minimum system requirements:

• CPU: i5-2500K or AMD FX-8100
