Double XP Weekend typically happen every 4-6 weeks, so while it’s not infrequent, it is still worth planning around and making sure you can hop online to benefit from the event. XP gain is valuable in COD titles as you’ll need to grind out levels in your Military Rank as well as certain guns to unlock new weapons and attachments. Players might also be wondering what ‘XP’ is actually impacted during Double XP weekends — in short, there’s XP for Weapons, Clans, Battle Pass, and Levels. For the weekend of January 27th (Friday) to January 30th (Sunday), this double XP event will only apply to Levels.
