Configuration for your online stance can be found in the Customize > Spartan ID > Stance menu. You’ll be able to see all the available stances in the game, as well as a brief description as to how to unlock the stance. While the Act of Genesis Stance has been teased in this menu since the game’s release, players did not have any tangible information as to how to unlock the stance as the description read “Stay tuned for more details”. Players have speculated on what the requirements might be — some have suggested that completing then legendary difficulty might be the answer (luckily, it’s not this hard!). Only recently has knowledge of how to unlock the stance been revealed. For the longest time, many articles have been written about how ‘there’s no way to unlock the Act of Genesis Stance’ — that’s all in the past now!

Unlocking the Act of Genesis

The way to unlock the Act of Genesis stance in Halo Infinite is to achieve 100% game completion. You’ll literally have to complete every nook and cranny of the campaign to unlock this legendary Stance! Once you complete 100% of the campaign, you may still experience some bugs when unlocking the stance:

A helpful Redditor explains that once you complete 100% of the campaign, you may need to hop into that save for a few minutes before you get the unlock alert. This seems to be a common discussion topic in the Halo Infinite community and hopefully one that is resolved in the near future. Simply boot up your save with 100% completion and hangout for a while until you get the sweet, sweet notification that your prized Stance awaits you.

Since you need to complete the campaign, this does mean that the Act of Genesis stance is a paid feature as you’ll need to shell out for access to the campaign despite multiplayer being a free experience. So, is it worth it? Stances are a fairly personal topic, as is the case in general for cosmetics. One benefit to the Act of Genesis is that it does convey some level of familiarity with the game when sizing up your opponents or your teammates — you’ll know that the player donning the stance has at least completed the single player experience.
